Beer goggle fun on third week of Project_Twelve:31

Tuesday 29 March saw the cold conditions braved by the young people at Four Fields to get involved in the new Project_Twelve:31 which provides sport and none sport activities for all to enjoy.

There were plenty of laughs this week and lots of fun thanks to the use of beer goggles provided by Lifeline Young People’s Services to show young people the effects of alcohol.

Karen Scanlon from The Ovenden Initiative said:

” The project is new and exciting and in its first 2 weeks we have already engaged with over 80 young people from the area who have come along and got involved.”

” It’s completely FREE so if you’re a young person living in Ovenden, Illingworth or Mixenden be sure to come along and join in the fun on Tuesday nights from 6pm at Four Fields, Ovenden.”

Project_Twelve:31 is a project for young people to come along and get involved in sporting activities with local Football Team Ovenden Phoenix and OSCA Foundation and for those who don’t want to participate in sport; Busoasis is on site to provide FREE Wi-Fi, Gaming on the X-box and other activities with Lifeline Young Peoples services. You can also relax and enjoy refreshments provided by Morrisions Supermarket, Illingworth.

The project now has its own Facebook page so be sure to click here and give it a like to keep up to date and get involved with all that’s going on.
