The Brunswick Centre’s Counselling Service is available in Calderdale and Kirklees for those who are:
- HIV positive
- A carer, partner or family member of someone who is HIV positive
- A gay, or bisexual man, or a man who has sex with men or is attracted to men
- A woman in a relationship with a man who has sex with or is attracted to men
We are seeking skilled and fully qualified counsellors or psychotherapists to join our existing team. This is an excellent opportunity to build a client portfolio, work with complex need and improve outcomes for some of the most vulnerable and marginalised people.
Ideal candidates will:
- Be qualified in their field
- Belong to their relevant professional body
- Have a portable Enhanced DBS Disclosure or willing to undertake one
- Have undertaken or willing to undertake Safeguarding training
- Be able to provide two professional references
- Be able to show proof of regular supervision
- Have a flexible approach and attitude
- Live or work in the Kirklees and/or Calderdale area
- Preferably have experience of working with these service user groups
In return he Brunswick Centre will:
- Provide a Service Level Agreement
