FREE ceramic tile-making workshops for people with disabilities

As part of the Mytholmroyd Arts Festival, local ceramic artist Sarah McDade will be running two free workshops for older people, making ceramic tiles on the theme of ‘Shops’.

The workshops will take place at Scope’s fully accessible centre in Halifax on:

  • Thursday 17 September – 10am to 12pm
  • Thursday 1 October – 10am to 12pm

No experience needed as help will be provided to produce beautiful decorative tiles that will be exhibited at the Mytholmroyd Arts Festival, and then returned to you to take home and enjoy.

Personal assistance will also be provided at the centre and travel costs can be reimbursed if required. Attend both sessions if you can, but you are also welcome to attend just one.

To book a place and discuss your support and transport needs, contact Peter Wardhaugh at Scope on 01422 361880.
