Calderdale Council and partners are working towards designing a specification for a Domestic Abuse Support Service and at the Domestic Abuse Discovery Day on 22 July ideas about a future service were shared.

Following an agreement to consult further on more detailed aspects of the service, two smaller and more focused consultation events are planned on the following dates:

• Tuesday 22 September – 9.30 to 11.30am – Specialist Domestic Abuse Support Service
• Thursday 24 September – 9.30 to 11.30am – Childrens Domestic Abuse Support Service

Both events will be held at the Orange Box, Halifax and places are limited to 25 per session so please contact  Naomi.whenham@calderdale.gov.uk to confirm attendance, stating who from your service will attend and which if not both sessions.
