Hebble Court demolition to commence

The physical demolition of the high rise Hebble Court in Mixenden will start from the week commencing Monday 1 June 2015 onwards.

Early on Sunday 31 May a very large machine will be police escorted into the site and will be there for about 2 weeks to take down the height of the block with operatives positioned on the surrounding streets to make sure passers by & drivers are aware of the works.

No roads are planned to be closed but operatives may ask drivers & passers by to just hold for a time depending on which sides of the block are coming down.

Residents at neighbouring houses are advised that due to the location of the tower and exposure to the wind it is likely that dust will migrate from the site therefore it is recommended that windows are kept closed during the day during the demolition works.

  1. Hi Andrew,

Dodge Holme Court is actually privately owned and Pennine Housing has no way of taking any action on that.

As far as we are aware the owner of Dodge Holme Court is currently advertising individual flats for sale on an internet property sale site.

    Hope this helps

  2. When are they going to demolish that neighbouring eyesore in the shape of Dodge Holme Court?
