During Love Your Local Market fortnight Wednesday 13 to Wednesday 27 May 2015 , Calderdale markets in Halifax, Hebden Bridge, Sowerby Bridge, Todmorden and Elland are offering a free cotton bag for every £5 spent at a single market stall.

There’s certainly plenty to spend your £5 on; whether you’re after fresh ingredients, speciality food, clothes, accessories, make up, flowers or haberdashery, you’ll find it all and more at Calderdale markets.

There are also plenty of events going on to celebrate the fortnight including:

• Local spring market – Sowerby Bridge – Sunday 17 May 2015
• Local produce market – Hebden Bridge – Sunday 24 and Monday 25 May 2015.
