In Calderdale, we’re really fortunate to have a very popular youth club for young people aged 11 to 24 with learning disabilities.

Gateway gives young people the chance to socialise, learn from each other and develop. Without our fantastic volunteers, this wouldn’t be possible. One week you could be playing football or basketball, the next you could be helping in the tuck shop, playing pool or even helping our young people get to and from our youth centre.

Full training will be provided and our volunteers are required to complete a DBS check but we’ll cover the cost of this.
