Dean Field pupils have been hard at it again, helping to clean up the Ovenden Community.

The Junior Wardens cleaned up the school drive and helped Community Warden Jonny Cato and Karen Scanlon from the Ovenden Initiative to check the local neighbourhoods for rubbish accumulation that could be a fire risk.

Last month the children were recognised as North Halifax Stars, when they were nominated for an award in the 2014 North Halifax Neighbourhood Awards, for their contribution to a safer cleaner greener environment.
