Local community groups now have an online fundraising platform specially designed for them called Localgiving.com, and Community Foundation for Calderdale are launching the first Localgiving.com Calderdale Match Fund, so that donations made between November 14 – December 2 2011 through Localgiving.com will be matched up to £250 per group in Calderdale.
At www.localgiving.com you can search by postcode and find out what local groups are doing in your area, and support them by giving a donation. Local groups receive a webpage they can update, gift aid on donations and advice on fundraising.
